What an interesting Question...coming from John of all people...
The same John that leaped for joy in his mother Elizabeths womb, when Mary, pregnant with Jesus greeted her...
The same John that Anounced Jesus as the Lamb of God that would take away the sins of the world...
The same John that said...Matt.3:11...I came to baptize you with water, but there's one coming after me, who is mightier than me, whose shoelaces Im not worthy to tie, who will BAPTIZE YOU WITH THE HS AND FIRE...
THE SAME JOHN THAT BAPTIZED HIM IN THE RIVER JORDAN, WHEN THE HEAVENS OPENED, AND THE HS ASCENDED IN THE FORM OF A DOVE, AND A VOICE CAME FROM HEAVEN SAYING..."THIS IS MY BELOVED SON, IN WHOM I AM WELL PLEASED..."

There' a parralel between John's question to Jesus, and the Question that the World are posing to the Church...ARE YOU THE ONE?...ARE YOU THE CHURCH?...ARE YOU THE ONE?

Jesus answered: Tell John what you...  
1.hear and
2.SEE...
BLIND SEE, DEAF HEAR, CRIPPLE WALK, DEAD ARE RAISED, GOSPEL ARE BEING PREACHED TO THE POOR!

HOW/WHAT DID JESUS ANSWER?

HE ANSWERERED GIVING HIS MINISTRY CREDENTIALS...

This are suppose to be EVERY Ministers CREDENTIALS!

For long enough the Gospel has been limted to only HEARING...
Its time to SEE...THE POWER OF THE GOSPEL!!!

Its TIME TO MOVE FROM PROCLAMATION TO DEMONSTRATION!!!

ITS TIME TO MOVE FROM HEARING TO SEEING...

What is the EVIDENCE...WHAT is the proof?
WHAT IS YOUR CREDENTIALS?

IT IS TIME FOR THE APOSTOLIC MINISTRY TO PRODUCE HER LAZARUS!!!

In Verse 11 Jesus says that the least in the Kingdom is GREATER than John the Baptist!!!

WOW!!! What a statement...but how is that possible?

Answer: MANDATE and ASSIGNMENT...
John's assignment was to PROCLAIM...our's are to MANIFEST,DEMONSTRATE,DISPLAY AND SHOW FORTH THE GLORY OF GOD IN THE EARTH...

JOHN 10:41...states that John the Baptist did not perform a single Miracle...

JOHNS ASSIGMENT WAS TO PREPARE THE WAY FOR JESUS...LIKE A VOICE IN THE WILDERNESS....

How? WHy GREATER? How is it possible?
Col.1:26,27 ...CHRIST IN US THE HOPE OF GLORY!!!
1John 4:4-Greater is He that is in me...

When John lived God was in Christ...NOW...CHRIST IS IN US!!!

V12-take the KINGDOM By FORCE!!!
This season is calling for a sense of URGENCY...

THE IDEA HERE IS THAT BEFORE JOHN THE BAPTIST THE KINGDOM COULD ONLY BE VIEWED IN THE LIGHT OF PROPHECY, BUT NOW IT CAN BE DEMONSTRATED.

Jesus commends John on 3 things:
1.Courage
2.Consecration
3.Greatness

4.URGENCY!!! HOT zeal...FIRE!...RADICAL...TENACIOUS!!!
A HOLY BOLDNESS...A PEOPLE THAT REFUSE TO TAKE NO FOR AN ANSWER...REFUSE TO BACK OFF 1 INCH...

5.CONSUMED with a PASSION for the lost...
A CHURCH NOT WINNING THE LOST IS LIKE A PIZZA PALACE WITHOUT PIZZA...OR A STEAKHOUSE WITHOUT STEAK...

6.STRONG CHRISTIAN character...integrity...
IN THIS SEASON INTEGRITY AND CHARACHTER WILL OUTWEIGH THE GIFTINGS...
CHARACHTER WILL KEEP YOU WHERE THE ANOINTING TAKES YOU...
THE GIFTS YOU RECEIVE FREELY FROM GOD...BUT CHATACHTER IS WHAT YOU HAVE TO WORK ON...
